Kirkuk blijft ons belangrijke plaats waar verschillende partijen om vechten. Nadat de Koerden in 2014 de plaats uit handen over Kan zijn begrijpen te krijgen, verovert dit Iraakse leger Kirkuk in 2017 wederom retour.
